Swing Fore the Symphony Golf Tournament
Our third annual tournament is our major fundraiser and is fun for all volunteers!!  It will be held October 16 at Wexford Golf Club.  Volunteer Contact Terry Hicks: TerryHicks22@gmail.com

Planning Committee;  Auction solicitors; Day of tournament volunteers as well as golf foursomes.

Musicales
These are six intimate and unique concerts held mainly in private homes or at Soundwaves.  Contact Carol McCarthy: c.mccarthy3562@gmail.com
Volunteer Opportunities:
Home host: Volunteer your home for a Musicale or about 50 people; League volunteers will help with any chair setup and parking.
Kitchen Captain: Make phone calls to League members to procure food donations for one Musicale and supervise the kitchen with the Musicale Chair and hired kitchen helper for that Musicale.
Food Preparation: Prepare and deliver hors d’oeuvres to the Musicale site.

Post-Concert Receptions
Receptions are held after some of the Monday night HHSO concerts and are an opportunity to gather with other attendees and orchestra members while enjoying delicious treats and beverages. Contact Marti Neumeister: MNeu815@aol.com
Volunteer Opportunities:
Reception captain:  Makes phone calls to League members to procure several dozen cookies to be delivered to the venue prior to the concert; oversees event.
Server: serves punch; assists in setup and cleanup.

Concours d’Elegance
We support this multi-day motoring festival with volunteers who drive golf carts throughout the event. Contact Stan Cooke: stan.cooke@roadrunner.com

Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon
Held each year in March, this event features along with a lovely fashion show and delicious luncheon, a silent auction and 50-50 raffle. Contact Anne Millhaem: azmillharm@gmail.com

Newsletter/Writing
This volunteer gathers information from committee chairs and edits it for our seasonal  newsletter.  Contact: Dahlia Handman: ddhandman@gmail.com

SoundWaves
Located at 7 Lagoon Road, SoundWaves houses the Orchestra offices as well as a large space with acoustics suitable for any event including HHSO rehearsals.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Usher, ticket sales, and bartender.
Events are scheduled for various days of the week and start at 7:30pm with volunteers arriving at 6:00pm. Most events are over by 9:30pm. This is a fun opportunity where you will hear concerts for free and meet other League members as well as performers and attendees.

HH International Piano Competition/Bravo Piano
This event is held each year in March. It brings in competitors from around the globe who compete for monetary prizes as well as future concerts, including performing with the HHSO. Contact Kathy Zurilla: kathyzurilla@gmail.com
Volunteer Opportunities:
Hospitality Committee: responsible for parties, competitors, and judges.
Production Committee: responsible for signage and stage equipment.
Performance Worker: greeter/zip code collector, competitor escort, usher, inside door monitor, and ticket/merchandise sales.
