Lowcountry Originals

Lowcountry Originals – A new series hosted by acclaimed pianist and songwriter, Kenny Munshaw, features local musicians for each event. Audience members are given the opportunity to hear original music in an intimate setting, while getting to know a little bit about the performers.

We are fortunate to have several chances to experience live music throughout the Lowcountry. Lowcountry Originals is unique in that the artists and their music are the evening’s featured attraction, and not the background music like we often hear at our many restaurants and bars. This Singer-Songwriter Series at SoundWaves provides the opportunity to listen to great Lowcountry artists and hear firsthand about songwriting, performing, and the music business.

Built as a premiere venue for intimate live music performances, SoundWaves presents the perfect home for Lowcountry Originals. A cash bar is available for beer, wine, and soft drink purchases, and as SoundWaves is located in Coligny, there are an abundance of local restaurants where you can grab a bite before the show. Parking is available at the venue and across the street in Coligny Plaza.
