Ring in the season with the Lowcountry’s most cherished holiday tradition joyful, soulful, and heartwarming celebration led by Maestro John Morris Russell (JMR) and the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra. This year’s festive program brings together classical favorites, beloved carols, jazz, R&B, gospel, and even a visit from the one-and-only “Mr. Grinch.”

Michael Preacely, a Hilton Head favorite known for his rich baritone and charismatic stage presence, returns to the HHSO after memorable performances in Porgy and Bess, Elijah, and Symphony Under the Stars.

Featuring the HHSO Chorus and singers from May River High School, this concert blends musical excellence with community spirit—perfect for audiences of all ages.

Making her debut is Brooklynn Thatcher, the 2025 Youth Concerto Competition Winner, adding a fresh spark of young talent to the holiday mix.

With arrangements sourced directly from the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra Library, accessible only through JMR himself, this program features one-of-a-kind orchestrations you won’t hear anywhere else.
