We first met Fei-Fei as a 20-year-old when she competed here in 2012, winning an HHIPC medal as one of six semi-finalists. She impressed audiences with her talent, warmth and charm, and has returned to the Lowcountry several times to play for us, adding her artistry to the inaugural BravoPiano! Festival in 2018 and then a year later for our “Musical Feast” benefit.  She is enjoying a thriving career now, so it’s a pleasure to welcome her back for an intimate evening at SoundWaves.

Fei-Fei’s delightful program features an all-Chopin first half (concluding with his beloved showpiece, the Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise, Op. 22) and the second half features a new piece from her native China by composer Xiaogang Ye and Rachmaninoff’s ever-popular Corelli Variations.   This is an evening you will not want to miss, so get your tickets today before it sells out!
