Coastal Home Supper Club is the new popular monthly dinner and cabaret series at SoundWaves at Coligny, home of the HHSO, pairing food and music for a fun Sunday evening.

Enjoy hearing international vocal group, LEGACY, in this phenomenal show featuring three Broadway performers who all met on the Broadway National tour of Motown The Musical. Together they have created this high energy show featuring your favorite hits throughout the last 60 years. From The Beatles to Donna Summer, there’s something in the show for everyone. You’ll be encouraged to sing along as these dynamic vocalists go on a musical journey through timeless music including Carole King, Earth Wind & Fire, Bruno Mars and more. Alex Hairston is a native to North Carolina where she attended Western Carolina University for musical theatre and dance. She made her Broadway debut in the hit jukebox musical Beautiful: The Carole King Musical as Janelle Woods. Hairston was the leading lady on the first national tour of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical as Disco Donna, the character that represents the disco era of music legend Donna Summer. During the pandemic, Alex transitioned to directing, virtual teaching and creating art for racial justice. Numerous teaching credits include Musical Theatre Instructor at both the UNC School of the Arts & The Core Academy (NC); Show Director & Dance Instructor at Ovation Academy for the Performing Arts (Chicago) & Dance Masterclass for HUB Performing Arts School (TX). You can now catch Alex back on Broadway in A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical!

Born in Los Angeles, raised in Chicago and now residing in NYC, Justin Reynolds has been performing his entire life. Having been to 90 countries so far, he has toured and performed on every continent. Recent credits include Smokey Robinson in Motown The Musical and in The Marvin Gaye Musical. Justin has also headlined on the Las Vegas strip in Vegas! The Show at Planet Hollywood. After 25 years on stage, and a passion for highlighting diverse triple threats, Justin created LEGACY. “LEGACY is a dream come true. Performing alongside such talented friends is a blessing.” 

North Carolina native, Tracy Byrd recently made an impression as Lionel Ritchie in the Broadway national tour of Motown the Musical. Other favorite roles include: Don Lockwood in Singing In the Rain, Ritchie in A Chorus Line, Seaweed in Hairspray and No Moe, in Five Guys Named Moe. Byrd has toured internationally as a lead soloist on luxury cruise lines and with the male vocal group, Legacy. Tracy has produced many award-winning musical theatre productions (Best Musical, Best Director, Best Ensemble, Best Music Direction, Best Lead Actor in a Musical) with numerous awards for Best Choreography, most recently for Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Five Guys Named Moe. 

Supper for this season’s premiere is provided by our good friends The SandBar Beach Eats in Coligny Plaza. Dinner choices include:

Half Roasted Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Asparagus,

Creamy Garlic Butter Tuscan Shrimp served over Pappardelle Noodles and

Vegetarian Zucchini Lasagna (Gluten Free).

Seating is cabaret-style at tables of 4.
Reserved dinner/concert seats are $69 per person.
Dinner/concert general seating is $59 per person.
Reserved seating for concert-only tickets is $39 per person, and general seating for concert-only tickets is $29 per person.

Doors and bar open at 6pm with dinner service at 6:30 pm.
The concert portion of the evening begins at 7:30 pm.
Concert-only ticket purchasers will be admitted beginning at 7:15 pm.
