To help protect the health and safety of our patrons, staff, and performing musicians, we have made the difficult decision to postpone SoundWaves programming for the foreseeable future. This follows with the recommendation by the authorities to limit gatherings of groups of more than 10 people.

SoundWaves Jazz Series Presents – The Art of Jazz Trio

Guitarist Jackson Evans is a staple of the Low Country jazz community. He is known for his partnership with bassist and singer Maggie Evans and leading his own trio, but can also be heard with the Jody Espina Trio, the Martin Lesch band, and occasionally as a guest with the gypsy-honkytonk outfit, Velvet Caravan. His style is energetic, rhythmic, and draws deeply from the jazz tradition while maintaining a quirky individualism culled from the influence of other music.

Currently based in Savannah, Georgia, Jackson is an in-demand bandleader, composer, arranger and accompanist.  
Tours with his own group have included appearances at The Bar Next Door in New York City and two residencies at jazz clubs in Mainland China.

Doors open at 7:00 – Show at 7:30

Tickets are $25 each for Cabaret seating.
$2.50 processing fee for all credit card purchases.
